Do people who don’t hunt really need guns?

I like to take notes in my phone whenever I have a thought that I find interesting. This usually happens when I’m high, which is no surprise to me to find a note from myself written to myself on 4/20 this year saying “People who own guns are scared to die! Or thugs! Or hunters!” Only God knows what I was thinking in that moment, likely stoned off my ass listening to hip-hop. Why did that thought pop into my head? Anyways, this topic is definitely more nuanced than my short quote and this post, but I feel somewhat prophetic as I write this today, given that Senate just passed a bill an hour ago for gun reform.
I haven’t read the details on the Senate bill it yet, nor do I plan to. I have enough on my plate right meow. What I will say is that I don’t understand why Americans are so scared of our government, and how they think their guns stand a chance against the missiles, nuclear weapons, chemicals, drones, and all of the other lovely weaponry that our government possesses. Even if you’ve got a hefty gun, good fuckin’ luck buddy. And if you bust out that gun, you can bet they will explode the fuck out of your house, killing your significant other, your kids, and your Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Having shot an AR-15 myself, I know how powerful a gun really is. If you are a hunter, by all means you should own a gun, but honestly why not “man up” and go old school with a bow/arrow set or a machete. Guns are essentially cheating. If I were to hunt, I would definitely do it my way, because I’m crazy. Anyways I have no interest in writing about this topic and just wanted to fill out the templates on my site, so thank god for some gun control. Let’s get the guns out of the hands of the incels and psych ward folks, and into the hands of the dudes who need 6 guns in a safe to feel safe.

About
The Author
I wrote this blog for a few reasons. One is because nobody in my circle of friends ever puts me on to music or things that are dope that I haven't heard about (step your game up friends!) as few people nerd out as hard as me on the dumb things I focus on. The other and main reason is because I am so tired of The NeedleDrop and Pitchfork, from the way Fantano talks about music, to the way that Pitchfork writes about it. Both cause me physical pain to read or watch, yet I for some reason occasionally check their review scores, because they are the only sites I know that do stay on top of music (to a degree), and they focus on genres that I'm not tapped into, so occasionally I find something good. Is it worth the pain? No. So let me save you the pain, by only sharing with you my favorites, and maybe you'll find a new favorite. Oh and I also love talking shit, so I'll do that too, but this blog is about showing love to great art.
